Jota.pê opens the second weekend of Rock in Rio with an exciting show alongside Zaynara and Luedji Luna

Jota.pê began his performance with "Uns Cafuné a Domicílio", while the audience gathered in front of the Sunset Stage. While he sang "Crônicas de um Sonhador", the screen showed images of his career, such as his time on "The Voice Brasil".

"I'm excited. We live an entire career to experience a moment like this. I hope each of you leaves the show a little better," he said.

The singer brought songs from the "Se o Meu Peito Fosse o Mundo" tour to the City of Rock, a work that consolidated his name in Brazilian music and earned him three Latin Grammys, including Best Album of Brazilian Popular Music/Afro-Brazilian Music and Best Song in the Portuguese Language, for "Ouro Marrom". Since then, the singer has added a fourth trophy to his collection with the project "Dominguinho", alongside João Gomes and Mestrinho.

And it was to the sound of the forró song "Arriadin por Tu" that Jota.pê invited the public to dance together, transforming Sunset into a big forró dance floor.

In the introduction to "A Ordem Natural das Ciências", Jota.pê shared with the public the story of his relationship with Emicida, author of the song.

The repertoire also made room for "Até Outro Dia Amor", the artist's most recent release. Influenced by reggae, the song received a kind of preview in Rio before the festival: on August 30, the singer made a surprise performance at Praia do Leme, in the South Zone of Rio, taking the new track closer to the public.

Zaynara brought the beat melody "Quem Manda em Mim", recorded in 2024 with Pabllo Vittar. Then, he amended "Eu Me Enganei", showing a little nervousness when singing the song live for the first time.

In the final stretch of the show, Jota.Pê showed all his skill on the cavaquinho in "No Mundo" and finished with "Beija-Flor" in a version alongside Zaynara and Luedji Luna.

The Sunset audience enjoyed a performance marked by the vocal strength of the three artists. The velvety timbre of Jota.pê met the intense and sophisticated interpretation of Luedji Luna and the striking personality of Zaynara, in combinations that guaranteed a great start to the second weekend of the festival.
