Uma jovem de 18 anos, identificada como Paola Azevedo, morreu após ser eletrocutada enquanto estendia roupa em Pinhalão, no Norte Pioneiro do Paraná, na quinta-feira (1°).
De acordo com a Polícia Civil (PC-PR), duas testemunhas relataram que a vítima usou uma extensão com o fio descascado para ligar a máquina de lavar. Quando estendia as roupas, pisou no fio e teve uma descarga elétrica.
A jovem recebeu atendimento de equipes do Serviço Integrado de Atendimento ao Trauma em Emergência (Siate), mas não resistiu aos ferimentos e chegou ao hospital sem vida.
O corpo da jovem foi sepultado na quinta-feira em Pinhalão.
A Polícia Civil investiga o caso.

Conforme o tenente André Brito, do Corpo de Bombeiros, a máquina de lavar só deve ser manuseada quando estiver desligada.
"Se for tirar alguma roupa ou fazer alguma manutenção, tem que tirar a máquina ou a secadora da tomada", alerta.
Ao ligar qualquer equipamento à rede elétrica, a recomendação é estar com as mãos secas e calçado. Também é importante que a instalação elétrica seja compatível com os aparelhos utilizados e que tomadas e fiações estejam em boas condições.
