When a JR Chuo Line train stopped at Toyota Station in Hino City, Tokyo at about 8:20 a.m. today (21st), it stopped 15 meters beyond the platform. Because reversing might affect the operation of nearby level crossings, it could only continue to the next station, so passengers could not get on or off at Toyota Station.

Comprehensive Japanese media reports, JR East said that no one was injured in the accident. It is speculated that the wheels slipped on the track because of the rain. Although there were normal brakes, it could not stop at Toyota Station. 10 passengers who wanted to get off at the station were forced to continue to the next station, Hino Station.

In addition, about 100 people who wanted to board the train at Toyota Station could only wait for the next train to arrive. This incident caused a total delay of 2 trains and affected the schedule of about 500 passengers.
