The expert report in the Kardaş Apartment case has been awaited for 1 year and 1 month.

In the Kahramanmaraş-centered February 6 earthquakes, 37 people, including a 3.5-month-old baby, lost their lives and 1 person was injured, as a result of the collapse of the Kardaş Apartment in the Eskisaray District of the central district of Adıyaman.

Adıyaman Chief Public Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit against contractor Naci Çetinkaya, reinforced concrete project designer and technical responsible Hacı Abdurrahman Dimez and Ramazan Turan for "causing the death and injury of more than one person through conscious negligence".

In the memorandum of intent prepared on August 25, 2025, it was decided to send the file to Dokuz Eylül University and obtain an expert report.

Although 1 year, 1 month and four hearings have passed, the expert report has not yet been prepared and submitted to the file.

The fifth hearing of the case will be heard at Adıyaman 1st High Criminal Court on January 26, 2027.

Those who lost their relatives in the earthquake demand that the expert report be prepared and submitted to the file as soon as possible and that the trial be concluded without delay.
