Suspicious death in Kaşif Kozinoğlu investigation: Turgay Tamer was found dead in his home

The investigation into the death of Kaşif Kozinoğlu, who died in Silivri prison in 2011 while he was detained in the Ergenekon case, continues.

Turgay Tamer, who was detained within the scope of the investigation and later released with judicial control measures, was found dead in his home.

Turgay Tamer was detained in the second wave operation of the investigation. He was released with an "exit ban" on charges of "being a member of a terrorist organization" and "intentional murder".

It was learned that Turgay Tamer was working as a campus doctor in the prison where Kaşif Kozinoğlu was detained at that time. It was noted that Tamer was not informed that Explorer Kozinoğlu's health condition was deteriorating and therefore he did not provide any medical intervention to Kozinoğlu.

On the other hand, it was learned that Turgay Tamer currently has some health problems and therefore has not been able to practice his profession as a doctor for a while.
