KDI는 "그럼에도 불구하고 경기 개선이 가계 전반의 소득으로 충분히 파급되지 못하면서 소비 개선세는 완만한 모습"이라며 "상반기 전체 근로자의 실질임금 상승률이 0.3%에 머무는 등 가계 구매력 회복이 제한되면서 소비 개선을 제약했다"고 평가했다.
7월 소매판매액지수 0.8% 감소했다. 내구재(10.3%→-4.1%)는 승용차(11.9%→-2.5%), 가전제품(13.0%→-0.8%), 통신 기기 및 컴퓨터(14.7%→-14.2%)가 모두 감소로 전환하면서 전체 소매판매의 하락을 주도했다.
KDI는 "자동차 개별소비세 인하와 주요 업체 판촉행사의 종료에 따른 영향이 반영됐다"며 "통신기기 및 컴퓨터 판매 감소에는 작년 동월 통신사의 번호이동 위약금 면제에 따른 기저효과가 작용한 것으로 판단한다"고 분석했다.
준내구재도 0.2% 감소했다. 작년 동월 소비쿠폰 지급 등으로 인한 기저효과 영향으로 KDI는 풀이했다.
KDI는 "월별 변동을 완화한 6∼7월 평균으로는 소매판매액이 1.5% 증가했으나, 이는 1분기 평균(3.2%)을 밑도는 수준으로 소비 개선 흐름이 완만한 모습"이라고 밝혔다.
7월 서비스업 생산은 3.5%로 전월(5.4%)보다 증가 폭이 줄며 조정되는 모습이다. 소비와 밀접한 도소매업(4.1%→0.1%)의 증가 폭이 축소되고, 숙박 및 음식점업(1.1%→-1.0%)이 감소로 전환된 영향이다.
