KPSS Marathon Starts on September 6: 1 Million 708 Thousand Candidates Will Compete

According to the calendar announced by ÖSYM, the KPSS process starts on Sunday, September 6.

The exam will be held in Nicosia, the capital of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), and in a total of 145 exam centers in 81 provinces of Türkiye.

In the first session, the General Ability-General Knowledge exam, candidates will be given 130 minutes to answer 120 questions. For the exam, which will start at 10.15, candidates will not be allowed into the buildings after 10.00 and the exam will end at 12.25. Disabled candidates who are deemed appropriate to use additional time will be able to benefit from up to 30 minutes of additional time.

Exam entry documents showing candidates' location information where they will take the exams are available on ÖSYM's "ais.osym.gov.tr" website. Provincial and district civil registry offices will be kept open on Sunday for candidates who have lost their identity card, do not have an identity card, or do not have their identity number and photograph on their identity card.

RESULTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON OCTOBER 7

KPSS License results will be announced to the public on October 7 and will be valid for two years from the date of announcement.

KPSS Field Knowledge Exams will be held in three sessions on 12-13 September. The first session will start at 10.15 on Saturday, September 12, in the fields of Public Administration, International Relations, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations; The second session, which will start at 14.45, will be held in the fields of Law, Economics and Finance. The third session, covering the fields of Business Administration, Accounting and Statistics, will be held on Sunday, September 13, at 10.15.

Within the scope of the calendar, KPSS Associate Degree will be applied on October 4, KPSS Secondary Education will be applied on October 25, and KPSS Religious Services Field Knowledge Test (DHBT) will be applied on November 1.

ÖSYM President Prof. Dr. Bayram Ali Ersoy noted the following about the number of candidates applying for the exam and the organization details:

"The KPSS marathon will start with the General Ability-General Culture session. 1 million 708 thousand 329 candidates applied for the General Ability-General Culture session. 1 million 98 thousand 705 of the candidates are women and 609 thousand 627 are men. 6 thousand 197 disabled candidates will participate in the exam. While veterans who applied for the exam and the spouses and children of martyrs and veterans were exempt from the exam fee, 5 thousand 763 candidates benefited from this right. "In addition, 258 candidates who are convicts or detainees and applied for the exam will attend the General Ability-General Culture session. 89 buildings in penal institutions that have been made suitable for the exam will be used as exam buildings."
