Lenny Kravitz denies Florida plane crash claims: 'I was not on that plane'

Following the crash of a private jet that took off from Texas to the Bahamas in Florida, killing all 9 people on board, claims that rock musician Lenny Kravitz was among the victims spread rapidly on social media. Following the allegations, the famous artist announced through his spokesman that he was not on the plane.

AN OLD POST WAS MISUNDERSTANDED

It was determined that the allegations stemmed from a Facebook post that pilot Emily Shelton, who lives in Florida, had previously made and later deleted, stating that she would fly with the rock star. It became clear that the person driving the crashed plane was not Emily Shelton and Kravitz was not on the plane.

Making a statement about the accident on TikTok, 21-year-old pilot Emily Shelton reacted by saying, "I learned that there were rumors that I was the pilot in the accident in Palm Beach. I would like to point out that it was not me. Please stop speculating and spreading false information about this tragedy."

While the identities of the passengers who died in the accident have not yet been officially disclosed, the American Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
