Champions League: Lille finally breaks down and concedes the opener... Follow the match of the second day of the league phase with us

The second in Ligue 1 meets the second in the Premier League for the second day of the Champions League league phase. Lille is expected on Tuesday October 13 at 9 p.m. on the pitch at the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal. Objective: open his account in the Champions League, after being overthrown by Betis Sevilla (2-3) during the opening day of the league phase.

• Illusive results. Losc is only one point behind the Monegasque leader in Ligue 1, but Davide Ancelotti's team is still struggling to convince. Lille often abandons the ball to opponents, which annoys the coach: "I am not happy with the level of the team with the ball", regretted Ancelotti after the narrow victory (1-0) against the Le Havre red lantern on Saturday.

• A typical team not yet designed. Throughout the matches, the Lille coach tries different configurations. On Saturday, he notably left his captain Benjamin André on the bench. “I'm still getting to know the players,” he admitted. “I think that in offensive games, we haven't yet found the mechanisms.” He will also have to do without the Portuguese Tiago Santos, author of a good start to the season, taken out on a stretcher on Saturday and victim of a total rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
