Russia attacking Kiev with ballistic missiles. Zelensky has a grudge against his allies

Zelensky announced the attack on the Ukrainian capital on social media.

"Russian ballistic missile attack on Kiev. Again, without any warning from the partners. The main target was the energy sector, specifically the thermal power plant No. 4. Unfortunately, there was a hit. A residential building was also damaged, and rescuers are currently extinguishing the fire. Our systems detected these missiles only when they were practically approaching Kiev. The thermal power plant No. 4 is one of the main energy facilities of the capital," he wrote in the Telegram messenger.

Zelensky warns: Russia does not intend to comply with the arrangements

The Ukrainian leader noted that according to Ukrainian intelligence data, the Russians are preparing further ballistic missile launches. He also added that Russia does not intend to follow the arrangements mentioned by US President Donald Trump, and despite Ukraine's support for suspending attacks on energy infrastructure, it is targeting another power plant and Ukrainian citizens.

"It is definitely unfair that the Russians are destroying energy infrastructure and Ukraine does not even receive warnings about the launch of ballistic missiles. It is important that the world does not remain silent on this matter. It is also important that the United States actually sees what is happening and who is to blame for the prolongation of the war," Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian Air Force also confirmed information about a Russian ballistic attack on the capital. "The Russians attacked the capital of Ukraine with ballistic missiles. The situation is similar to yesterday - we have not received information from our partners about missiles being fired from enemy territory. The reasons are being established," they noted in the Telegram messenger.

Earlier on Tuesday, the US president assured that the United States continues to help Ukraine and provide it with intelligence data. He assessed that both Russia and Ukraine want peace, but do not know how to achieve it.
