There are rumors in the market that Apple will launch the first MacBook Pro equipped with a touch screen before the end of this year and usher in the most significant redesign in recent years. The latest news further points out that the new phone may be faster than expected and will be officially unveiled as soon as October.

Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman broke the news that Apple is expected to launch the touch MacBook Pro this fall, with the earliest debut in October, and does not rule out delaying it to November. He also revealed that Apple is currently testing macOS 27.2 internally.

Apple has recently released macOS 27.2 Beta to developers, and the official version is expected to be launched around the end of October, so there is a real chance that the touch MacBook Pro will be released later this month. In addition, Apple has often chosen to update its Mac product line from late October to early November in the past, and the overall schedule is quite consistent.

The new touch MacBook Pro is expected to become the highest-positioned model in Apple's existing notebook product line, but the actual name is still unclear. It may continue to use MacBook Pro, or it may adopt a new name, such as "MacBook Ultra."
