Mother sees brother masturbating in front of 4-year-old daughter and uncle is arrested for rape in MG

Rape of a vulnerable person is the crime of having sexual intercourse or carrying out another libidinous act with a minor under the age of 14 or with a person who, due to some condition, does not have the capacity to consent. The crime is provided for in article 217-A of the Penal Code.

Also according to the PC, the temporary arrest warrant was issued by the Court on Friday (9). The police, however, did not find the suspect. He presented himself at the police station voluntarily this Tuesday, accompanied by his father and brother.

The investigations began after the victim's mother noticed that her daughter had redness and injuries in the intimate area. The case occurred about 50 days before the man's arrest, and the mother began to pay more attention to the people who had contact with her daughter.

During a family meeting, the woman saw her brother masturbating in front of the child. The Military Police (PM) were called and the man was arrested. He was taken to the Patos de Minas Civil Police and later released.

According to the Civil Police of Rio Paranaíba, the mother contacted her other sisters and discovered that other children in the family had already been victims of attempted abuse by their uncle. Based on these reports, the responsible delegate requested the temporary arrest of the person under investigation for a period of 30 days.

The request received support from the Public Ministry of Minas Gerais (MPMG) and the warrant was granted by the Court of the Single Court of the District of Rio Paranaíba.

The man was taken to the Carmo do Paranaíba Prison, where he remains in custody. The Civil Police continues to investigate the case.
