Man arrested in Greece on suspicion of involvement in thermos bomb attack in Falkenberg

It was on the night of December 11, 2024 that a thermos bomb was thrown in through a window on Västra gärdet and another in central Falkenberg. The latter detonated and blew up a gate.

Five people were convicted of involvement. Now Hallands Nyheter reports that a man, whom the police suspect of having been the instigator or accomplice, has been arrested in Greece.

Lars-Gunnar Perlinger, who previously led the investigation at the police department for serious crimes in Halland, does not want to go into details about how they located the man.

- We can hope that there can be a release in the not too distant future, he says to SVT.
