Statements from Mansur Yavaş Regarding the 'New Party' and His Meeting with Erdoğan

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş said, "Those at the top can leave as much as they want. We, as the people of Ankara, will continue to be together with people of all opinions on every issue at the bottom." he said.

Yavaş shared new details about his meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Beştepe. Stating that Treasury and financing approvals are awaited for giant transportation and investment projects in the city, Yavaş said, "How will we serve if we do not meet with those who govern this country?" He responded to the criticism about the meeting by saying.

Response to the allegations of changing parties and the "NEW Party": "There is torment in separation"

Answering the journalists' questions about whether he would leave the CHP and the "NEW Party" allegations at the end of the program, Yavaş ended the allegations with a message of unity. Stating that they will meet to discuss the issue soon, Yavaş said the following:

"Friends, we will gather to discuss those questions soon, hopefully, we will discuss them all. There is nothing to talk about right now. I say it again... There is torment in separation, mercy in unity."
