Armed attack on the market! He went to give bread

During an armed attack on a market in Adana, 52-year-old baker Doğan Gedik, who came to the market to deliver bread, was shot in the stomach. Gedik, who was taken to the hospital, could not be saved. Police are looking for the suspects who fled by car after the incident

The incident in Adana took place yesterday in a market on Onur Street in Şakirpaşa District of the central Seyhan district. Allegedly, an armed attack was carried out on the market by people with whom the market owner had animosity.

Meanwhile, baker Doğan Gedik (52), who was bringing bread to the market, was shot in the stomach. The attackers escaped by car.

Upon the notice of the surrounding people, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. While the medical teams took Gedik to the hospital, the police took extensive security measures in the area and started working to catch the suspects who carried out the attack.

Doğan Gedik, who was taken to the hospital, could not be saved despite the interventions and died yesterday evening.

Gedik's body was taken by his relatives after the autopsy at the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue and he was buried in Kabasakal Cemetery. The police started an investigation to catch the suspects who carried out the attack.
