The schedule of 12 Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) and 10 High School Transition System (LGS) trials, which will be held throughout Turkey during the 2026-2027 academic year by the Ministry of National Education through the MEBİ Individual Learning Platform, has been announced.
According to the statement made by the Ministry, MEBİ, which offers support for school lessons and preparation for central exams, continues to support students' individual learning processes.
The artificial intelligence-supported platform helps students study at their own pace, identify their learning deficiencies and track their development with lecture videos, interactive content, subject summaries, questions, reporting and goal setting tools.
With the trials to be organized throughout Turkey in this context, it is aimed to monitor the exam preparation processes of the students throughout the year and to support their studies in the fields they need.
10 LGS trials will be held for 8th grade students, and 12 YKS trials will be held for 12th grade students and graduates.
YKS trials will include Basic Proficiency Test (TYT), Field Proficiency Tests (AYT) and Foreign Language Test (YDT) sessions.
FIRST YKS TRIAL IS ON 21 SEPTEMBER
According to the 2026-2027 academic year calendar, the first YKS trial will be applied on 21-27 September, and the first LGS trial will be applied on 2-8 November.
The trials, which will continue at regular intervals until June 2027, will allow students to regularly evaluate their preparation processes.
Students will be able to see their current situation in trials attended by people from across Türkiye, make comparisons with their previous results, and determine the courses and subjects they should prioritize in their studies.
After each trial is completed, detailed video solutions prepared by expert teachers will be made available via MEBI.
Students will be able to examine the solution steps of the questions through video solutions, learn different solution methods, and evaluate where they had difficulties in the questions they made mistakes or left blank.
DEVELOPMENT TRACKING WITH DETAILED REPORTS
MEBİ's Reports Module will transform Türkiye-wide and individual trial results into meaningful feedback for students. Analyzes presented on the basis of course, subject, achievements and learning outcomes will help students identify their areas of strength and where they need support.
In the "My Trial Exam Reports" section, students will be able to review their course and question-based results in detail. In the "My Progress Reports" section, they will be able to follow their progress through comparative graphs with previous trial results.
Students preparing for YKS and LGS will be able to evaluate their trial results together with data on the base success rankings of the high schools and higher education programs they target in the "My Target Reports" section.
These reports and the platform's study plan features will support students in organizing their preparation processes in line with their individual needs and goals.
Schools that want to implement printed experiments in the classroom environment will also be able to benefit from the opportunities offered by MEBİ. Schools will be able to download optical forms with QR codes created on behalf of students via the platform, print them out and use them in trials.
Through the Goal-Based Support Training Module, schools will be able to create school-specific experiments using the MEBI question pool.
After the application, school administrators will be able to scan the completed optical forms through the MEBİ Optik application and transfer the results to the system. Thus, the results of the printed tests will be reflected in the students' MEBI profiles.
Students will be able to examine their success rankings, course-based results and detailed analyzes at the provincial, district and school levels across Turkey on the platform, and printed applications carried out in schools will also be included in MEBİ's digital measurement, evaluation and development tracking process.
Participation in the trials, which are offered to strengthen equality of opportunity in education, can be made via the "mebi.eba.gov.tr" address or the MEBİ mobile application.
Students and graduates will be able to participate in trials on the dates specified in the application calendar and follow their results and progress reports on the platform.
