AYDIN ​​HASAN / The second meeting of the Strategic Political and Defense Committee, established within the framework of the Ankara - Mecca Alliance, will be held today in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

An emergency meeting was held

The first meeting of the Political and Defense Committee was held in Istanbul on 31 August, hosted by Turkey. The foreign ministers of the three countries held an emergency meeting in New York on September 24, and the chiefs of staff held an emergency meeting in Riyadh on September 25, following the attacks of the Houthis against Saudi Arabia.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, and Chief of General Staff Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu will attend the meeting to be held in Riyadh today. Ministerial counterparts from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will also attend the meeting. The search for a solution to the security problem posed by the Houthis, who are causing regional tension, is expected to be on the urgent agenda of the meeting.
