Meloni replies to Schlein: "New Migration Pact is a positive development for Italy"

Elly Schlein talks about "boomerangs" and an alleged failure of the government in managing migrants. But before making propaganda it would be useful to know the difference between the issues being talked about. Schengen and the Pact on Migration and Asylum are two completely different things and have nothing to do with each other.

And it is precisely the new Pact that marks a positive turning point for Italy in the management of the so-called "Dublinarian" migrants. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni wrote this on social media, highlighting that "the new rules protect the states of first entry much more in terms of asylum requests and, with the strengthening of the safe third country principle wanted by Italy, it will be easier to carry out accelerated repatriations".
