According to the information compiled from the 2027 Central Government Budget Law Proposal, the hourly overtime pay of civil servants will increase by approximately 20 percent in the new year. The hourly overtime wage, which was 16 lira 55 kuruş in 2026, will increase to 19 lira 85 kuruş as of January 1, 2027.

Personnel who work together with the chairman of the board (ministries), general director and higher unit managers, head of strategy development, governor, general and admiral, the Ministry of National Defence, the General Staff, force commands, the heads of departments and managers of higher units in the Gendarmerie General Command and the Coast Guard Command, the rector, metropolitan and provincial mayors for a total of 450 hours per month for each position, provided that they have the rank of governor, general and admiral, will be paid 21 lira and 15 kuruş per hour, not to exceed 90 hours per month.

Among the personnel working in dormitories affiliated with the General Directorate of Credits and Dormitories and universities, those who do not have the opportunity to be given leave in return for their overtime work will be given an additional payment of 19 lira and 85 kuruş per hour, not to exceed 90 hours per month.

Administrative personnel of the Ministry of National Education working in vocational and technical secondary education institutions associated with vocational schools located in the vocational and technical education region will be paid 33 lira and 85 kuruş per hour, not to exceed 100 hours per month, for the overtime they actually work after the end of the legal working hours.

DOMESTIC DAILY DAILY

Domestic daily allowance and compensation amounts to be given in accordance with the Travel Allowance Law have also been redetermined. In the new year, the domestic daily amount to be paid to the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and the Vice President will increase from 925 lira to 1260 lira.

The domestic daily wage of the President of the Constitutional Court, ministers, Chief of General Staff, members of parliament, force commanders, Gendarmerie General Commander, Coast Guard Commander, Secretary General of the Presidency, Secretary General of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, full generals, admirals, Supreme Court of Appeals, Council of State, Court of Disputes and Court of Accounts presidents, Chief Public Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeals, Chief Prosecutor of the Council of State, presidents of the Council of Religious Affairs and Higher Education and the Chief Public Ombudsman is 900 liras. It will increase to 1230 lira.

The domestic daily wage will increase to 1210 lira for civil servants with a supplementary indicator of 8 thousand and higher. The lowest-ranking officer will be paid 1160 lira.
