At least six NATO countries are acquiring American Merops anti-drone systems

At least six NATO countries, most of which are on the eastern flank, are purchasing American Merops anti-drone systems.

A year ago, only three alliance countries used the Merops system.

MOSCOW, September 29 - RIA Novosti. At least six NATO countries, most of which are on the eastern flank, are purchasing American Merops anti-drone air defense systems, Business Insider magazine reports, citing a US official.

“At least six countries (of the alliance - ed.) have either acquired or are in the process of acquiring the American Merops system. Most of them are NATO countries on the eastern flank,” the publication said.

As the magazine notes, a year ago only three countries of the alliance used Merops.
