According to the information received, a study on obscenity and prostitution was carried out by the Provincial Police Department Public Order Branch Ethics Bureau under the coordination of the Mersin Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. After the study, many addresses were determined throughout Mersin and a simultaneous 'My Family is Safe' operation was organized. Many suspects were caught during the operation. The detained suspects were taken to the police station and their judicial proceedings began. While the suspects, who also possessed weapons and various criminal elements, were being prosecuted for many crimes such as 'producing obscene content, immoral prostitution, providing a place for prostitution', it was determined that some social media accounts shared provocative content related to the criminal investigation.

Mersin Chief Public Prosecutor's Office requested an access ban on social media accounts that shared provocative posts.
