National Football Team Started Preparations for Italy Match

The National Football Team started preparations for the match it will play against Italy in Bursa on Monday, September 28, in the second week of the UEFA Nations A League 1st Group.

According to the statement made by the Turkish Football Federation, the star and crescent team carried out their first practice before the match against Italy after the first group match in which they lost 1-0 to France.

TOP 11 STARTERS WERE RENEWED

In the training held at TFF Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities under the management of coach Vincenzo Montella, the football players who started the match against France in the first 11 completed the day with a renewal work.

After warming up, the other players practiced passing, tactics and finishing. The training ended with a tactical exercise in the half-field.

ORKUN KÖKÇÜ WORKED SEPARATELY FROM THE TEAM

Orkun Kökçü, who could not participate in training since the beginning of the camp due to pain in his toe, worked out separately from the team, accompanied by a physiotherapist.

TFF Deputy President Mecnun Otyakmaz also followed the national team's work from the stands.

The National Team will leave for Bursa tomorrow by bus for the Italy match.

The crescent-star team will perform their last training before the match at Yüzüncü Yıl Atatürk Stadium, where the match will be played.
