Mithat Sinan Bolak is the son of former TÜSİAD President Ümit Boyner. It was reported that an arrest warrant was issued on September 23, 2026 for Bolak, who was mentioned in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality case where the defendants, including Ekrem İmamoğlu, were tried.

WHY WAS A CAPTURE WARRANT ISSUED?

In the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality case, where the defendants, including the elected Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor and Presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, were tried, an arrest warrant was issued for 5 people who were stated to have not attended the hearing and could not be reached.

The names for which an arrest warrant was issued were Fatih Mehmet Bozkurt, Ahmet Hamdi Çiçek, Mithat Sinan Bolak, Kamil Timur Delibaş and Utku Cihan.
