Mitsubishi Motors Taiwan recently released the latest promotional video on its official website social media, announcing that the long-awaited new-generation Outlander is about to debut. It also revealed that it will be imported from Japan and inherit the four-wheel drive pedigree of Dakar Rally's seven consecutive champions. Now it is also confirmed that the new-generation Outlander will be released in China on September 22, which will inject new vitality into the domestic mid-size SUV market.

The Outlander imported into China will be a facelifted version of the fourth-generation model. According to the original manufacturer's information, it mainly updates the radiator guard and front and rear bumper styles to create a more refined and dynamic appearance. It is upgraded to equipped with newly designed 20-inch geometric aluminum wheels under the feet to further enhance the sporty atmosphere.

According to previous news from the press conference, the new domestic Outlander will be equipped with a head-up display, a fully digital instrument/central control screen and a panoramic camera system to create a technological cockpit, and will enhance the quality performance through high-grade leather interiors. In addition, ventilated massage seats and Yamaha surround cabin audio will also be introduced to enhance riding comfort.

In terms of power, the domestic Outlander will be equipped with the same 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine as the American model, paired with 48V light petrol-electric technology, which can provide a maximum horsepower of 174 horsepower and a peak torque output of 28.5 kilograms. It is also equipped with the S-AWC intelligent four-wheel drive system as standard, providing 6 driving mode choices, demonstrating excellent maneuverability in response to diverse road conditions.
The domestically imported power is a 1.5-liter turbo light petrol-electric engine paired with an S-AWC smart four-wheel drive system.
