Monsieur Dior in Milan: the new restaurant designed by Enrico Bartolini in via Montenapoleone

It will be called Monsieur Dior and will open on 18 September in the premises of the luxury brand's historic boutique in Milan, in via Montenapoleone. A project that combines fashion and gastronomy already tested in Paris and Tokyo and which now also lands in Milan. It includes a menu of 12 dishes prepared by the starred Italian chef who currently has 14 Michelin stars, of which three obtained with the Mudec restaurant in the Lombard capital

Dior returns to Milan and does so in style with a gastronomic project that aims to offer the best on the market. The restaurant will be called Monsieur Dior and will be led by Enrico Bartolini, an award-winning chef who currently has 14 Michelin stars in the restaurants he leads. After two years of work, the French fashion house reopens the doors of its historic boutique in the center of Milan, at number 12 of via Montenapoleone. The debut will be on September 18th: a union between food and fashion already experimented in other international locations (Paris, Beijing and Tokyo) and which now brings its format to Italy for the first time.

The restaurant

Luxury fashion and haute cuisine find their perfect combination in this venue open from morning to night. Breakfasts, lunches, aperitifs and dinners but also afternoon tea and cocktail bars to guarantee customers an impeccable 360-degree service. The menu was told by the chef himself to Corriere della Sera: 12 fixed dishes (three starters, three first courses, three second courses and three desserts) to which will be added the proposals of the day for lunch and dinner. Among the dishes on the menu are some of Bartolini's flagships: from the Risotto with red turnips and gorgonzola sauce to the Tartare fleury, then the Pied-de-poule Soufflé and the Grand soir chocolat among the desserts. Sweet and savory tastings in an elegant multi-tiered tray for snack time.

The chef

Enrico Bartolini, as anticipated, has 14 Michelin stars in his palmarès obtained in the restaurants he managed: we particularly remember the three stars of the Mudec restaurant in Milan. But the chef in this project will not be alone. To accompany him in the management of Monsieur Dior, the luxury brand has opted for other well-known names from the world of catering: Giuseppe Allegretta as resident chef, Monica Biella as general manager and Matteo Inzaina as restaurant manager.
