Montezemolo is hoping for a Ferrari victory in Monza to celebrate 30 years since Schumacher's first success

Ferrari did very well to celebrate Michael in Monza with this initiative, for me it will be a great emotion and so will thinking back to certain moments and therefore it will be a special weekend. But the best thing would be to celebrate 30 years since that victory with another victory for Ferrari. I hope so with all my heart." Luca di Montezemolo said this in an interview with the German broadcaster Rtl, regarding the Scuderia's choice to take to the track in Monza with a livery that pays homage to Michael Schumacher, recalling the single-seater with which he achieved his first success in the Italian GP in 1996.

"This year Ferrari is competitive and I believe that even if so far in certain moments it has not been possible to extract the full potential of the car - continued Montezemolo, former president of Ferrari - I am convinced that Ferrari can have a great race. I see a growing Red with a good car and I hope a lot in Monza and in future races because I believe there is potential in the car that has not been used 100% this season. Ferrari has won two races but can win others and I think it has a good chance in the Constructors' World Championship too.
