Mormaço Cultural starts shows at Parque do Rio Branco with Amado Batista, Cidade Negra, Seu Jorge, Ferrugem and Kevin O Chris

Singers Amado Batista, Kevin O Chris, Seu Jorge and Ferrugem, as well as the band Cidade Negra, are some of the attractions at Mormaço Cultural this Friday (18). The shows open the festival program at Parque do Rio Branco. (Check the schedule below).

The festival began on September 9th, with performances at the Boa Vista Municipal Theater, and features a variety of musical styles.

At Parque do Rio Branco, musical performances take place simultaneously on two stages: Lua and Sol. The Lua stage is close to Mirante Edileusa Lóz, on the sand strip, while the Sol stage is on the park's "grassland", close to Avenida Sebastião Diniz.

The singer Amado Batista opens the night of national performances at 7:10 pm. Among the artist's main hits are "Secretária", "Seresteiros da Noite" and "Princesa". Then, at 7:50 pm, it's the band Cidade Negra's turn, with the reggaes "A Estrada", "Pensamento" and "Girassol".

Singer Seu Jorge, who mixes samba, soul, funk, MPB and samba-rock, takes the stage at 8:40 pm, with the hits "Mina do Condomínio", "Burguesinha" and "Amiga da Minha Mulher". Also composer Ferrugem should sing "Arrependidaço", "Apaguei Pra Todos" and "Me Bloqueia", at 10:30 pm.

The party ends with funk singer Kevin O Chris, with "Evoluiu", "vamos pra Gaiola" and "Ela É do Tipo", at around 0:10.
