MotoGP: Marc Marquez wins the San Marino Grand Prix

Marc Marquez won the San Marino Grand Prix in the MotoGP class. The Spanish world champion of the official Ducati preceded the red team Gresini of his brother Alex, second, and the Ktm of Pedro Acosta. Fifth was Jorge Martin on the official Aprilia, also behind Fermin Aldeguer on the Ducati Gresini. In addition to Marco Bezzecchi on the Aprilia, who crashed in the initial stages of the race, Francesco Bagnaia on the other official Ducati also failed to complete the race.

Marquez catches Martin at the top of the World Championship

Marquez thus took advantage of Bezzecchi's fall during the first lap to score a double after yesterday's success in the Sprint Race. In the drivers' standings, thanks to this success, the reigning world champion has a close lead on Martin at 274 points, while Bezzecchi remains third at 241.
