Response from Muaz Ergezen to CHP's Akay's allegations

CHP Karabük Deputy Cevdet Akay, KUYAŞ Yatırım A.Ş. within the scope of the fund investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. He claimed that there was a network of relationships between AKP figures, former bureaucrats and fund actors around him.

Akay; He claimed that the names of AKP Central Disciplinary Board Member Muaz Ergezen, former AKP Deputy Ertan Aydın, former SSI President and former Deputy Minister Mehmet Selim Bağlı, and former President of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency Osman Arıkan Nacar were included in the same table.

RESPONSE FROM ERGEZEN TO THE CLAIMS

Muaz Ergezen, who made a written statement after Akay's post, stated that no direct accusation was made against him in the post, but he felt the need to make a statement because his name was mentioned with some allegations.

Ergezen used the following statements in his statement:

“Although there is no direct accusation against me in CHP Deputy Mr. Cevdet Akay's post, I felt the need to make this statement in order to eliminate any hesitations that may arise due to my name being mentioned with some allegations and question marks.

"I know Mehmet Selim Bağlı, Ertan Aydın and Osman Arıkan Nacar, among the names mentioned in the post, to the extent that many people who worked in the bureaucracy in Ankara know each other."

“I SAW KUYAŞ FOR THE FIRST TIME WITH THIS POST”

Ergezen argued that he had no connection with KUYAŞ and continued his statement as follows:

"I do not know the other people mentioned in the post. I saw the company named KUYAŞ and its shares for the first time with this post.

"I have never had any interest in the company or its shares, nor do I have any commercial relationship, including an attorney-client relationship, with the persons mentioned."
