Actress Hayden Panettiere dies at 36

Hayden Panettiere died this August 16 at the age of 36. The news was a hard blow to his fans and colleagues. The actress, known for her roles in Heroes, Nashville and Scream, rose to fame in her earliest childhood and since then worked in all types of productions. Although his life was not always easy.

In recent years, he experienced some of his toughest moments. An example of this was the death of her brother Jansen in 2023 or the years she was separated from her daughter, Kaya, 11 years old. The actress had not had custody of the girl since 2018, the result of her relationship with former world boxing champion Wladimir Klitschk.

In fact, saying goodbye was one of his most traumatic experiences. Proof of this were the statements he left in his memoirs, This Is Me: A Reckoning. "I remember every second of that day. Every damn second," he wrote in the book published in 2026.

And for her, motherhood was a great and hard blow. "I didn't know where my alcoholism ended and postpartum began. And I was completely exhausted," she lamented in an interview with Good Morning America. Because, even though she was completely excited and worried during pregnancy, when her daughter was born she developed postpartum depression.

"I had always heard that mothers feel an instant surge of love the moment they see their baby, but I didn't feel anything," she lamented. As he explained, he did not feel an immediate connection, which led him to an "emotional blackout" and, shortly after, turning to alcohol. In fact, that was the reason she lost custody of her baby.

"I turned to wine, which ultimately led to a dependency on alcohol," he noted. An emotional exhaustion that also affected her relationship with Wladimir Klitschko to the point of separating. Thus, in 2018 the athlete and his little girl ended up going to Europe. "It was the worst, signing those papers. The most heartbreaking thing I've ever had to do in my life," he confessed.
