Muğla Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Conducted an Investigation on FETO-Related Suspects and Burkay Karatepe Digital Materials

Muğla Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Terrorist Crimes Investigation Bureau examined the digital materials seized from the suspects who were found to be in contact with FETO and Burkay Karatepe, who was a member of the assassination team against President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the July 15 coup attempt and was caught and arrested in Afyonkarahisar.

Thereupon, an operation was organized against people who were determined to have provided financial aid to Karatepe while he was wanted as a fugitive. A simultaneous operation was carried out by Muğla Police Department teams at a total of 10 addresses, 5 in Istanbul and 5 in Eskişehir, on September 4. 10 suspects were detained during the operations. During the searches carried out at the suspects' addresses, a large number of digital materials were seized.

The suspects were brought to Muğla, where the investigation continues. 10 suspects, whose police procedures were completed, were sent to the courthouse at noon.
