Melih Gökçek and his family came to Ankara Courthouse for a statement within the scope of money transfer allegations.

Ahmet Gökçek and Hülya Gökçek came to Ankara Courthouse to testify as suspects within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

AN OFFICIAL INVESTIGATION WAS STARTED

Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation ex officio on August 29, following allegations in some press and media outlets that unregistered money was transferred to companies abroad about İbrahim Melih Gökçek.

Former Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Melih Gökçek testified at the Ankara Courthouse as a suspect within the scope of the investigation opened against him.

“I HAVE NO WORRIES”

Making a statement to the press after leaving the courthouse, Gökçek said, "This is not the first time in my life that I have come to the prosecutor's office. This is not the first time I have been to the prosecutor's office. This is not the first time I am being investigated. A decision will be made here in the coming days. I have no worries. Because I am a person who tells the truth." he said.

HIS SON AND HIS BRIDE WERE SUMMONED

In addition, Melih Gökçek's son Ahmet Gökçek and his daughter-in-law Hülya Gökçek were also called to testify as suspects.
