Woman is attacked by ex-partner who failed to comply with protective measure in Marília

According to the police report, recorded on Friday (25), the woman heard noises in the backyard and went to check. There, he found his ex-partner, who had jumped the wall.

The victim reported that he threatened to take his own life and also said he was going to kill her. He then attacked her by pulling her hair, grabbing her neck and pushing her against a closet. In the kitchen, the suspect took a knife to try to stab the woman in the neck. She protected herself with her hand and suffered cuts.

The man refused to leave the place and ended up sleeping in one of the bedrooms of the house. The next morning, when leaving for a job interview, the woman noticed that her ex-partner was still in the property.

After the appointment, she tried to call the residence to check if he was still there. Without returning, the victim went to the Women's Defense Police Station (DDM) in Marília to register a police report.

Upon noticing the presence of the police, the suspect jumped over the back wall and fled towards a nearby wooded area. Searches were carried out in the region, but he was not located.

The woman has urgent protective measures issued by the 3rd Criminal Court of Marília, which prohibit her ex-partner from approaching or maintaining contact by any means.

The case was registered as non-compliance with an urgent protective measure, threat, insult, bodily harm and attempted feminicide within the scope of domestic violence and the Maria da Penha Law.
