Father and son fall off their motorcycle into a lake in the Federal District; father is revived and taken to hospital

It is possible to see in the images the moment when the motorcycle leaves the track, crosses three lanes and hits the wall. The accident happened on Sunday afternoon (27).

With the impact, the 37-year-old man and the 12-year-old child were thrown into the water. The child managed to hold on to the helmet and was rescued by members of the public. The father was submerged and had to be removed from the lake by divers from the Federal District Military Fire Department (CBMDF).

According to firefighters, the man was removed from the water without vital signs and received cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) maneuvers on the banks of the lake (watch below). After vital signs were restored, he was taken to the Base Hospital.

The child was also treated and transported to the same health unit. She was stable and oriented.

The accident happened around 2:30 p.m. To respond to the incident, the CBMDF mobilized a water rescue team, six land vehicles and the corporation's helicopter.

Until the last update of this report, there was no information about the causes of the accident or the health status of the victims after arrival at the hospital.
