Fire hits four floors of building in Teresópolis; single victim refuses treatment

According to the Fire Department, a 28-year-old man, the only recorded victim, refused treatment at the scene.

Agents from the 16th Military Fire Brigade (GBM) were called at 12:11 am to fight the flames in the building, located on Rua José Alves Maciel, in the Jardim Pimenteiras neighborhood. The teams' work lasted until 1:56 am.

The corporation did not say how many apartments were affected by the fire, which reached four of the building's five floors.
