Netanyahu responds to Trump claiming Iran is trying to rebuild its nuclear capacity

In his video message, Prime Minister Netanyahu recalled US President Donald Trump's claim that he was trying to rebuild Iran's nuclear capacity and argued that Israel would not allow this.

"President Trump announced this evening that Iran is trying to re-equip itself with nuclear weapons. This is true." Netanyahu claimed that they would target Lebanon and Iran with new attacks.

Arguing that "Iran cannot have nuclear weapons" as long as he is the Prime Minister of Israel, Netanyahu threatened that they would launch new attacks against Iran and Hezbollah with the words "more are on the way."

On the other hand, Netanyahu, in a joint written statement with Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, announced that the Israeli army targeted the Ali Tahir Hill region in the south of Lebanon.

Netanyahu claimed that Hezbollah's tunnels were destroyed.

Defense Minister Katz had threatened Iran during the day, stating that in case of "any attack by Iran", a strong response would be given to Tehran's basic energy facilities.
