Marmara Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi Halkla İlişkiler ve Reklamcılık bölümünden mezun olan Nill Özalp, öğrenim hayatı boyunca müzik çalışmalarına da devam etti. Şan eğitimi aldı.

Müzik Hayatının Başlangıcı

Nill Özalp, öğrenim yıllarında radyoculuk yapmaya başladı. Aynı dönemlerde dedesinin kurduğu “Denizaltı Orkestrası”nda müzikle tanıştı. Çeşitli mekanlarda Anadolu rock söyleyerek müzik hayatına ilk adımını attı.

Sonraki yıllarda Silivri’de çeşitli yerlerde tek başına sahne almaya başladı. Üniversite eğitimi için İstanbul’a giden Özalp, bu yıllarda geri vokal çalışmalarının yanı sıra kendi bestelerini yapmaya başladı. Bu çalışmalar, ilk solo albümü “Acıkolik”in oluşumuna da zemin hazırladı.
