"We will increase the Party Assembly to 150 people"

NEW Party Chairman Özgür Özel stated that they will increase the number of members of the Party Assembly to be elected at the 1st Ordinary Congress to be held next week to 150, 80 members of the Party Assembly will be from the parliamentary group, 40 members will be from provincial and district organizations, and 30 members will be academics and politicians.

NEW Party Chairman Özgür Özel, in his statement to Sözcü newspaper, said, "We do politics face to face and at eye level among the public as much as possible. We talked for a long time on the bus in the square. We organized the reaction.

We held reaction and protest rallies. Then they took the bus from under us. So we went down and were doing politics at eye level. We also saw that this provides something very important. We do politics on the street, hand in hand, eye to eye. "They didn't leave us any other opportunity," he said.

Responding to a question about the rise in the number of undecided voters, Özel said, "Voters who have broken away from the government have decided where they are breaking away from, but are still thinking about where they will go. We also have a responsibility here. In other words, we do not think that our party has any shortcomings in criticizing the problems. But we need to convince the voters who have broken away from the government that we will govern Türkiye very well."

Özgür Özel said, "We need to evaluate the process after this congress until the election very accurately. Because people do not change parties there only when they are uncomfortable. They change their decisions, but they can go undecided or their behavior can turn into a game of reaction and protest. It is the duty of the opposition to convince them. It is the duty of our party."

Özel said, "We will create a strong electoral army. We attach great importance to going to the field with an election army of 250 thousand people and doing politics face to face, door to door, doing door to door politics and doing politics face to face. We are in the preparation of a propaganda army of 250 thousand people, who will work voluntarily with and without a party. Now, what fell to us was a new understanding of politics. That's why we held the district, provincial and chairman elections with all members."
