Quaest survey shows Lula with 58% and Flávio Bolsonaro with 23% in the 1st round of the Presidency in Bahia

Quaest survey released this Thursday (24) shows how the dispute for the Presidency of the Republic is going in the 1st round among voters in Bahia. The survey was commissioned by Rede Bahia.

See below the results of the stimulated survey, in which Quaest shows the list of candidates to the voters interviewed.

First round

Lula (PT): 58% (it was 50% on August 27)

Flávio Bolsonaro (PL): 23% (was 17%)

Writer Augusto Cury (Avante): 4% (was 4%)

Ronaldo Caiado (PSD): 2% (was 4%)

Renan Santos (Mission): 2% (was 1%)

Rui Costa Pimenta (PCO): 0% (was 2%)

Zema (New): 0% (was 1%)

Samara Martins (UP): 0% (was 1%)

Edmilson Costa (PCB): 0% (was 0%)

Clariana Barão (PCB): 0% (was 0%)

Hertz Dias (PSTU): 0% (was 0%)

Veterinarian Wilson Grassi (Democrat): 0% (was 0%)

Leonardo Avalanche (PRTB): 0% (was not in the previous survey*)

Undecided: 6% (was 12%)

Blank/null/will not vote: 5% (was 8%)

For 85% (it was 77% on August 27) of voters interviewed in the survey, the choice of candidate is definitive. Another 15% (was 23%) say they can still change their vote until the elections on October 4th.

The survey was commissioned by Rede Bahia. Quaest interviewed 900 people aged 16 and over between the 20th and 23rd of September. The margin of error is 3 percentage points, plus or minus, and the confidence level is 95%. The TSE registration number is BA-01850/2026.

Second round

Quaest also tested the 2nd round scenario in Bahia between candidates Lula and Flávio Bolsonaro. Check it out:

Lula (PT): 62%

Flávio Bolsonaro (PL): 27%

White/Null: 7%

Undecided: 4%

*The survey released on August 27th did not provide a scenario for a 2nd round for president in Bahia.
