Petro's reaction to the Golan Heights decision: He apologized to the Arab world

In his statement on his account on the US-based X social media platform, Petro reacted to the decision of Colombia's new President Abelardo de la Espriella, "recognizing Israeli sovereignty in the occupied Golan Heights".

Stating that the majority of the Colombian people think that the Golan Heights belongs to Syria, Petro said, "The Colombian people still do not accept that the Golan Heights belongs to Israel.
