Police are looking for two missing girls from Saalfeld

The police are looking for two missing girls who were in the care of a foster mother in Saalfeld. The foster mother left the apartment with the three-year-old and four-year-old for unknown reasons, the police said.

The birth mother and another relative reported the disappearance about a week ago, a spokeswoman said. Since September 17th it has been unclear where the two girls and the foster mother were.

Police are asking anyone who has information about his whereabouts to come forward. According to police, the two girls have a foster mother, but are in contact with both their biological mother and their biological father.
