İYİ Party Deputy Turhan Çömez visited the retired police officer who attempted suicide

İYİ Party TBMM Group Deputy Chairman and Balıkesir Deputy Turhan Çömez visited the 60-year-old retired police officer, who attempted suicide before the protest organized by the retired people demanding a raise in Ahlatlıbel Atatürk Park opposite the Constitutional Court (AYM) in Ankara, at Gazi University Emergency Service, where his treatment was ongoing.

Stating that he received information about the health condition of the retired police officer from doctors, Çömez said that his condition is critical.

Çömez made evaluations about the economic conditions of retirees and said that he met with doctors at the hospital after the incident.

Regarding the health condition of the retired police officer, Çömez said, "I have met with all our doctor friends in the emergency room right now. His condition is extremely serious. They are in a great struggle to bring him back to life. I hope their efforts will bring him back to life with the help of God and he will join us. But I would like to underline that the situation is extremely critical."

CALL FROM ÇÖMEZ TO GOVERNMENT

Çömez continued his criticism of the economic conditions of retirees and addressed the government. Drawing attention to the salaries and living conditions of retirees, Çömez argued that the incident should be seen.

Çömez said, "There is a very clear message to the government from here," and called on AKP politicians to come to Gazi University.
