Prime Minister Donald Tusk convened a meeting on border security

"Today I convened a meeting with the participation of ministers and commanders of the Polish Army and services. We talked about further actions to strengthen the security of our borders," Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on the X platform.

This is the second meeting of this type recently. On Sunday, Prime Minister Donald Tusk held a briefing with the ministers of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, the Ministry of National Defense and the commands of individual services after the Russian attacks on a gas station and a train's technical locomotive right next to the border with Poland.

In a conversation with journalists, the Prime Minister said that "the coming weeks and months will be a period of very intensified actions on the Russian side and we cannot rule out that the escalation will also affect our territory."
