Professor Fabiane Grando Brotto, aged 41, died this Saturday (12). She had been hospitalized since the accident that killed her daughter in April.
The family was traveling along BR-277 when the car was hit by a truck. Fabiane's husband and son witnessed the accident.
The vehicle was dragged 86 meters along the highway. Bianca, aged 6, died at the scene and Fabiane suffered head trauma.
Fabiane Grando Brotto, 41 years old, who died this Saturday (12), after almost five months in hospital as a result of a serious accident on BR-277, was remembered by family and friends as a dedicated mother and a beloved teacher.
She had been hospitalized since April 21st, at the Cascavel University Hospital. The accident happened in Céu Azul, in the west of Paraná. Fabiane's daughter, Bianca Grando Brotto, aged six, died at the scene.
“Fabi, you have always been an exemplary and unique mother!”, wrote a family member on social media.

A teacher in the early years of elementary school, Fabiane lived with her family in Toledo, in the West. She was also the daughter of Luiz Grando, former mayor of Pato Bragado. She leaves her husband and a son.
Fabiane was seriously injured after the car she was in with her daughter was hit and dragged by a truck on the highway.

Colégio La Salle Toledo, where the teacher worked, published a note of condolence.

Fabiane and Bianca were in a car when they were hit by a truck on BR-277, in Céu Azul.
The family had left Matelândia and was heading to lunch at a fishing spot in Céu Azul. Afterwards, he would return to Toledo, where he lived.
According to the Fire Department, the girl's father and brother were in another car, right behind, and witnessed the accident.
Images from a security camera recorded the moment of the crash. The video shows the car almost completing the crossing of the highway when it is hit from the side by the truck. With the impact, the vehicle was dragged 86 meters, according to the Federal Highway Police (PRF).
Bianca was in the back seat and died at the scene. Fabiane was seriously injured, with head trauma, and was taken to the Cascavel University Hospital, where she has remained hospitalized since then.
