Protest causes congestion on Avenida Tancredo Neves in João Pessoa after man's death

A protest organized by residents caused congestion in both directions on Avenida Tancredo Neves, in Bairro dos Ipês, in João Pessoa, this Wednesday (23). According to the Military Police, the demonstration began around 5 pm and was motivated by the death of a man in the early hours of Wednesday.

Still according to the PM, both lanes of the avenue were partially blocked by burning objects. The police did not say how many people participated in the protest or what was the reason for the death that led to the protest.
