Federal Revenue pays income tax fine mesh this Wednesday

Around 412 thousand taxpayers who fell into the fine mesh and settled their pending issues with the Tax Authorities will settle their accounts with Leão. The Federal Revenue will pay this Wednesday (30) the September fine mesh batch. The batch also includes residual refunds from previous years.

Payment will be made throughout the day. In total, 412,186 taxpayers receive R$1.26 billion. Of this total, R$466.68 million goes to taxpayers with legal priority for reimbursement.

Refunds are distributed as follows:

• 281,609 taxpayers who used the pre-filled declaration and/or simultaneously chose to receive the refund via Pix (priority not provided for by law);

• 59,722 taxpayers aged 60 to 79 (legal priority);

• 34,565 non-priority taxpayers;

• 19,699 taxpayers whose largest source of income is teaching (legal priority);

• 9,250 taxpayers over 80 years of age (legal priority);

• 7,341 taxpayers with physical or mental disabilities or serious illnesses (legal priority).

Open since the 23rd, consultation can be made on the Federal Revenue website. The taxpayer simply clicks on “My Income Tax” and then on the “Consult Refund” button. It is also possible to consult the Federal Revenue app for tablets and smartphones.

Payment

Payment will be made to the account or Pix key type CPF informed in the Income Tax declaration. If the taxpayer is not on the list, he or she must enter the Virtual Taxpayer Assistance Center (e-CAC) and obtain the declaration extract. If there is a pending issue, you can send a rectifying statement and wait for the next batches of fine mesh.

If, for any reason, the refund is not deposited in the account informed in the declaration, as in the case of a deactivated account, the amounts will be available for redemption for up to one year at Banco do Brasil. In this case, the citizen can schedule credit in any bank account in their name, through the BB Portal or by calling the bank's Relationship Center, on telephone numbers 4004-0001 (capitals), 0800-729-0001 (other locations) and 0800-729-0088 (special telephone number exclusively for the hearing impaired).

If the taxpayer does not redeem the refund after one year, he or she must request the amount on the e-CAC Portal. When entering the page, the citizen must access the “Declarations and Statements” menu, click on “My Income Tax” and then in the “Request refund not redeemed in the banking network” field.
