Russian Defense Ministry Reports Strikes on Ukrainian Military Infrastructure and Territorial Gains

MOSCOW, September 27. /TASS/. The Russian Armed Forces struck transport and fuel, energy infrastructure facilities used by the Ukrainian military, as well as drone production facilities in the past 24 hours, the Defense Ministry reported.

TASS has compiled the main information on the progress of the special military operation over the day.

Situation in Kharkov Region

Russia’s battlegroup North has established control over Khripuny in the Kharkov Region, the Defense Ministry said. "The battlegroup North continues to tighten the encirclement of Ukrainian military units in the northeast of the Kharkov Region and expand the zone of control. As a result of active offensive operations, the settlement of Khripuny in the Kharkov Region came under [Russian] control," the statement said.

Moreover, Russian servicemen are fighting to liberate the settlements of Nesternoye, Lukashovo, and Grachovka in the Kharkov Region. "Fighting is underway to liberate the settlements of Nesternoye, Lukashovo, and Grachovka. Enemy forces are being eliminated near the settlements of Varvarovka and Rublenoye in the Kharkov Region," the mininstry noted.

At the same time, the battlegroup continues fighting for Prikolotnoye in the Kharkov Region. "As part of efforts to expand the zone of control, the battlegroup North continues fighting for the town of Prikolotnoye in the Kharkov Region," the statement said.

Meanwhile, the Russian Armed Forces thwarted two Ukrainian military attempts to break out of the Kharkov Region encirclement near the village of Nefedovka. "[Russian servicemen] thwarted two enemy attempts to break out of the encirclement near the village of Nefedovka in the Kharkov Region," the military pointed out, noting that Ukraine has lost up to 60 servicemen in the Kharkov Region encirclement over the past day. "Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian losses in the encirclement amounted to up to 60 servicemen, two armored fighting vehicles, a car, an ATV, and two ground-based robotic systems," the statement said.

Concurrently, Russia’s battlegroup Center liberated 94 buildings and eliminated more than 30 Ukrainian servicemen in Dobropolye in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) over the past 24 hours, the Defense Ministry emphasized. "In the DPR town of Dobropolye, the Center conducted offensive operations in the northwestern direction, continuing to eliminate encircled Ukrainian military units in the western and eastern districts of the city. A total of 94 buildings were liberated and over 30 Ukrainian servicemen were eliminated. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy made no attempts to break out of the encirclement," the statement said.

Special military operation progress

The Russian Armed Forces struck transport and fuel, energy infrastructure facilities used by the Ukrainian military, as well as drone production facilities in the past 24 hours, the army stresed.

"Russian servicemen struck transport and fuel-energy infrastructure facilities used by the Ukrainian military, drone production facilities and their component manufacturing plants, as well as temporary deployment sites of Ukrainian militants and foreign mercenaries in 149 areas," the ministry said.

According to its statement, Ukraine has lost approximately 1,515 troops in the special military operation zone over the past 24 hours. In particular, Russia’s battlegroup North wiped out over 300 Ukrainian servicemen, the battlegroup West eliminated more than 230 enemy troops, the battlegroup South wiped out over 230 military, the battlegroup Center eliminated up to 420, the battlegroup East destroyed up to 290 troops, and the battlegroup Dnepr wiped out up to 45.

Meanwhile, Russian air defenses downed four guided aerial bombs, a US-made HIMARS MLRS rocket, and 505 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over the past 24 hours, the Defense Ministry concluded.
