Russia: Three-way meeting with USA and Ukraine could take place soon
According to Russian sources, a three-way meeting between the USA, Russia and Ukraine could take place soon. However, there are no details yet, says Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that such a technical-level meeting could take place in the United Arab Emirates. Peskov also announced that Russian special representative Kirill Dmitriyev had held talks in the USA. It was mainly about economic issues. Dmitriev met with US representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner on September 24, a person familiar with the matter told Reuters.

USA proposes three-way meeting with Russia

ArcelorMittal writes off a billion on Ukrainian steelworks

Russia: One dead and refinery stopped after drone strikes
According to authorities, at least one person was killed and numerous others injured in Ukrainian drone attacks on several Russian regions. Finland asks Musk to activate Starlink for Ukraine attacks in Russia

NATO increases information exchange over suspected sabotage

Drone enters Romanian airspace and crashes
The Romanian Ministry of Defense has reported the intrusion of a drone into its airspace. The flying object stayed over Romanian territory for around four minutes on Thursday and then crashed near a town in the north of the country, not far from the border with Ukraine. Luxembourg defends support for Russian oligarchs
Luxembourg's Prime Minister Luc Frieden has defended his support for removing Russian oligarch Mikhail Fridman from the EU sanctions list. Frieden told journalists that they had called for the billionaire to be removed from the sanctions list “in the greater interest of Luxembourg and in order to prevent damage to Luxembourg”. This was “in the overriding interest of Luxembourg”. Fridman is considered a close confidant of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Baltic states impose their own sanctions against Russian billionaires
