Heavy rain in Sakarya: Chicken coop was flooded, education was suspended in 18 schools

Following the heavy rains in Sakarya, floods and floods occurred in many regions. The chicken coop with a capacity of 11 thousand belonging to Hasan Kılıç in Çıldırlar District of Akyazı district was also flooded. Despite the intervention of the coop owner Hasan Kılıç and his relatives, hundreds of adult chickens died due to the flood.

Due to heavy rain and floods, education was suspended for 1 day on Wednesday, September 30, in 18 schools in Akyazı, Erenler, Karapürçek and Karasu districts.

The schools where education was suspended are as follows:

Kuzuluk Akşemsettin Imam Hatip Secondary School in Akyazı, Kuzuluk Dr. Enver Ören Secondary School, Kuzuluk Primary School, Mehmet Soykan Primary School, Topçusırtı Anatolian Development Foundation Primary/Middle School and Yağcılar Primary School.

Abdullah Esma Kocabıyık Primary/Middle School, Ali Dilmen Primary School, Ekinli Primary/Middle School, Erenler Secondary School, Hacı Mehmet Akkoç Secondary School, Şeyhköy Kindergarten (TEV Esat Egesoy Bedia Başgöz Primary/Middle School), Çaybaşı Yeniköy Primary School and Yunus Çiloğlu Secondary School in Erenler.

Mehmet Akif Ersoy Multi-Program High School, Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Kindergarten and Şehit Mustafa Geyve Primary/Middle School in Karapürçek.
