Security Guard in Samsun Saved the Girl Living on the Rail System from the Front of the Tram

An underage girl jumped onto the pedestrian crossing where the rail system is located at the Cumhuriyet Square Tram Stop in Samsun's İlkadım district. Even though the driver driving the tram suddenly applied the brakes, Muhammet Lafçı, a security guard at SAMULAŞ belonging to Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, saved the little girl by grabbing her t-shirt and pulling her. Those moments were also reflected on the security camera.

Muhammet Lafçı said, "During my duty, I noticed a 5-year-old child jumping in front of the tram. At that moment, with a sudden reflex, my own daughter came to my mind and I saved her, disregarding my own life. I feel very comfortable in conscience. I saved her with a sudden reflex and my hands and feet were really shaking. Nothing negative happened to our daughter either.

My request from our people is not to use headphones while passing the tram, to look left and right and to be careful. Sometimes there may be moments that we do not realize. I warn them to be more careful. The family felt very sad at that moment and thanked him. They were also in shock from the incident.
